Eye of the Beholder

The Eye of the Beholder art print was drawn out of my experiences whilst photographing a church in northern England which was on the brink of redundancy.

St. Edmund, Falinge is a remarkably unique combination of philanthropic, secular and religious tradition - built at several times the cost of an 'average' church during the late Victorian period.

Bristling with symbolism designed to the highest standards of materials and workmanship - this church just resonates with the human spirit of endeavour.

The stained glass, for me, is a tour-de-force. Beautifully crafted and full of narrative I wanted to draw from this and create an art print which expressed vision and balance and celebrated the human spirit.

The Eye of the Beholder is available in one unique limited edition print and also in print and poster formats.

15% of receipts will be donated to The Churches Conservation Trust who now care for St Edmund’s as well as over 340 historic churches in England and re-use them in innovative ways involving the community.’
