“..ONE OF THE COUNTRY’S LEADING ARCHITECTURAL PHOTOGRAPHERS.” (MANCHESTER EVENING NEWS)
Andy Marshall is an award winning architectural photographer who deeply engages with his subject matter.
His photographic prints are rooted in, and drawn from his experiences in interacting with the built environment. His "Time Travel in Architecture 1900 Edition Print" sold for £1900 ($2800) and was part of a wider project which crowdsourced the subject matter needed for the print.
He continues to engage his audience with innovative ways of storytelling and building up a multi media narrative around his photographic prints, giving them meaning context and resonance.
Awards include the College of Estate Management Harold Samuel Prize for his thesis on Genius Loci in Architecture. In 2010 he won the BE2 Award for best use of photography in social media. In 2011 he was positioned amongst the most influential people in the built environment (UK) on Twitter according to the tCn Top 100. Again in 2011 he was listed as one of the Independent Newspaper voices of the year.
